How to uninstall or remove libk3b6-extracodecs software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libk3b6-extracodecs package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libk3b6-extracodecs

Uninstall libk3b6-extracodecs including dependent package

If you would like to remove libk3b6-extracodecs and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libk3b6-extracodecs

Use Purging libk3b6-extracodecs

If you use with purge options to libk3b6-extracodecs package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libk3b6-extracodecs

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libk3b6-extracodecs
