libjson-java software package provides library for transforming Java objects and XML to JSON and back again, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjson-java
libjson-java is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjson-java package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjson-java *
You will get with libjson-java package name, version, architecture and description in a table
