libjs-openlayers software package provides JavaScript library for displaying map data in web browsers, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjs-openlayers
libjs-openlayers is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjs-openlayers package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjs-openlayers *
You will get with libjs-openlayers package name, version, architecture and description in a table
