libjs-jquery-hotkeys software package provides easily add and remove handlers for keyboard events anywhere in your code, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjs-jquery-hotkeys
libjs-jquery-hotkeys is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjs-jquery-hotkeys package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjs-jquery-hotkeys *
