libjs-jquery-colorbox software package provides jQuery customizable lightbox, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjs-jquery-colorbox
libjs-jquery-colorbox is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjs-jquery-colorbox package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjs-jquery-colorbox *
You will get with libjs-jquery-colorbox package name, version, architecture and description in a table
