libjcodings-java software package provides Java-based codings helper classes for Joni and JRuby, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjcodings-java
libjcodings-java is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjcodings-java package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjcodings-java *
You will get with libjcodings-java package name, version, architecture and description in a table
