libjcode-perl software package provides Perl library for Japanese character code conversion, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjcode-perl
libjcode-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjcode-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjcode-perl *
You will get with libjcode-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
