libitm1-dbg software package provides GNU Transactional Memory Library (debug symbols), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libitm1-dbg
libitm1-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libitm1-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libitm1-dbg *
You will get with libitm1-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
