libinput5-dbg software package provides input device management and event handling library - debugging symbols, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libinput5-dbg
libinput5-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libinput5-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libinput5-dbg *
You will get with libinput5-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
