How to uninstall or remove libindicator-tools software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libindicator-tools package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libindicator-tools 

Uninstall libindicator-tools including dependent package

If you would like to remove libindicator-tools and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libindicator-tools 
Use Purging libindicator-tools

If you use with purge options to libindicator-tools package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libindicator-tools 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libindicator-tools
