How to uninstall or remove libimage-exiftool-perl software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libimage-exiftool-perl package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libimage-exiftool-perl 

Uninstall libimage-exiftool-perl including dependent package

If you would like to remove libimage-exiftool-perl and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libimage-exiftool-perl 
Use Purging libimage-exiftool-perl

If you use with purge options to libimage-exiftool-perl package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libimage-exiftool-perl 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libimage-exiftool-perl
