libilmbase6 software package provides several utility libraries from ILM used by OpenEXR, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libilmbase6
libilmbase6 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libilmbase6 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libilmbase6 *
You will get with libilmbase6 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
