How to uninstall or remove libhttpmime-java software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libhttpmime-java package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libhttpmime-java

Uninstall libhttpmime-java including dependent package

If you would like to remove libhttpmime-java and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libhttpmime-java

Use Purging libhttpmime-java

If you use with purge options to libhttpmime-java package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libhttpmime-java

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libhttpmime-java
