libhttpcore-java software package provides set of low level HTTP transport components for Java, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libhttpcore-java
libhttpcore-java is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libhttpcore-java package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libhttpcore-java *
You will get with libhttpcore-java package name, version, architecture and description in a table
