libhivex0-dbg software package provides library for reading and writing Windows Registry hives, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libhivex0-dbg
libhivex0-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libhivex0-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libhivex0-dbg *
You will get with libhivex0-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
