libherwig59-2-dev software package provides [Physics] Monte Carlo event generator for hadrons (development), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libherwig59-2-dev
libherwig59-2-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libherwig59-2-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libherwig59-2-dev *
