libhersheyfont-dev software package provides Hershey vector fonts library development files, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libhersheyfont-dev
libhersheyfont-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libhersheyfont-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libhersheyfont-dev *
You will get with libhersheyfont-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
