libhd12-dev software package provides virtual package provided by libhd-dev, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libhd12-dev
libhd12-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libhd12-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libhd12-dev*
You will get with libhd12-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
