How to uninstall or remove libgtkdatabox-0.9.2-0-libglade software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libgtkdatabox-0.9.2-0-libglade package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libgtkdatabox-0.9.2-0-libglade

Uninstall libgtkdatabox-0.9.2-0-libglade including dependent package

If you would like to remove libgtkdatabox-0.9.2-0-libglade and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgtkdatabox-0.9.2-0-libglade

Use Purging libgtkdatabox-0.9.2-0-libglade

If you use with purge options to libgtkdatabox-0.9.2-0-libglade package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libgtkdatabox-0.9.2-0-libglade

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgtkdatabox-0.9.2-0-libglade
