How to uninstall or remove libgstreamer1.0-0 software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libgstreamer1.0-0 package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libgstreamer1.0-0

Uninstall libgstreamer1.0-0 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libgstreamer1.0-0 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgstreamer1.0-0

Use Purging libgstreamer1.0-0

If you use with purge options to libgstreamer1.0-0 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libgstreamer1.0-0

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgstreamer1.0-0
