libgps21 software package provides Global Positioning System - library, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgps21
libgps21 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgps21 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgps21 *
You will get with libgps21 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
