How to uninstall or remove libgpod4-nogtk software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libgpod4-nogtk package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libgpod4-nogtk

Uninstall libgpod4-nogtk including dependent package

If you would like to remove libgpod4-nogtk and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgpod4-nogtk
Use Purging libgpod4-nogtk

If you use with purge options to libgpod4-nogtk package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libgpod4-nogtk

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgpod4-nogtk
