libgmime2.6-cil-dev software package provides CLI binding for the GMime library, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgmime2.6-cil-dev
libgmime2.6-cil-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgmime2.6-cil-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgmime2.6-cil-dev *
You will get with libgmime2.6-cil-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
