How to uninstall or remove libglobus-xio-gridftp-driver-d software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libglobus-xio-gridftp-driver-d package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

Uninstall libglobus-xio-gridftp-driver-d including dependent package

Use Purging libglobus-xio-gridftp-driver-d

If you use with purge options to libglobus-xio-gridftp-driver-d package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libglobus-xio-gridftp-driver-d

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libglobus-xio-gridftp-driver-d
