libglib2.0-data software package provides Common files for GLib library, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libglib2.0-data
libglib2.0-data is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libglib2.0-data package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libglib2.0-data *
You will get with libglib2.0-data package name, version, architecture and description in a table
