How to uninstall or remove libgl1-fglrx-glx-virtual software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libgl1-fglrx-glx-virtual package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libgl1-fglrx-glx-virtual

Uninstall libgl1-fglrx-glx-virtual including dependent package

If you would like to remove libgl1-fglrx-glx-virtual and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgl1-fglrx-glx-virtual
Use Purging libgl1-fglrx-glx-virtual

If you use with purge options to libgl1-fglrx-glx-virtual package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libgl1-fglrx-glx-virtual

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgl1-fglrx-glx-virtual
