libghc-xdg-basedir-dev software package provides basic implementation of the XDG Base Directory specification, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libghc-xdg-basedir-dev
libghc-xdg-basedir-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libghc-xdg-basedir-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libghc-xdg-basedir-dev *
You will get with libghc-xdg-basedir-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
