How to uninstall or remove libghc-uuid-dev-1.3.3-4d230 software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libghc-uuid-dev-1.3.3-4d230 package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libghc-uuid-dev-1.3.3-4d230

Uninstall libghc-uuid-dev-1.3.3-4d230 including dependent package

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libghc-uuid-dev-1.3.3-4d230

Use Purging libghc-uuid-dev-1.3.3-4d230

If you use with purge options to libghc-uuid-dev-1.3.3-4d230 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libghc-uuid-dev-1.3.3-4d230

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libghc-uuid-dev-1.3.3-4d230
