libghc-transformers-compat-dev software package provides small compatibility shim for older versions of transformers., you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libghc-transformers-compat-dev
libghc-transformers-compat-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libghc-transformers-compat-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libghc-transformers-compat-dev*
