How to uninstall or remove libghc-openal-prof-1.4.0.2-bf4 software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libghc-openal-prof-1.4.0.2-bf4 package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libghc-openal-prof-1.4.0.2-bf4

Uninstall libghc-openal-prof-1.4.0.2-bf4 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libghc-openal-prof-1.4.0.2-bf4 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libghc-openal-prof-1.4.0.2-bf4

Use Purging libghc-openal-prof-1.4.0.2-bf4

If you use with purge options to libghc-openal-prof-1.4.0.2-bf4 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libghc-openal-prof-1.4.0.2-bf4

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libghc-openal-prof-1.4.0.2-bf4
