How to uninstall or remove libghc-knob-dev-0.1.1-d7b4f software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libghc-knob-dev-0.1.1-d7b4f package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libghc-knob-dev-0.1.1-d7b4f

Uninstall libghc-knob-dev-0.1.1-d7b4f including dependent package

Use Purging libghc-knob-dev-0.1.1-d7b4f

If you use with purge options to libghc-knob-dev-0.1.1-d7b4f package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libghc-knob-dev-0.1.1-d7b4f

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libghc-knob-dev-0.1.1-d7b4f
