How to uninstall or remove libghc-hsx-jmacro-dev-7.3.5-ba software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libghc-hsx-jmacro-dev-7.3.5-ba package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libghc-hsx-jmacro-dev-7.3.5-ba

Uninstall libghc-hsx-jmacro-dev-7.3.5-ba including dependent package

If you would like to remove libghc-hsx-jmacro-dev-7.3.5-ba and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libghc-hsx-jmacro-dev-7.3.5-ba

Use Purging libghc-hsx-jmacro-dev-7.3.5-ba

If you use with purge options to libghc-hsx-jmacro-dev-7.3.5-ba package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libghc-hsx-jmacro-dev-7.3.5-ba

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libghc-hsx-jmacro-dev-7.3.5-ba
