How to uninstall or remove libghc-hourglass-dev-0.2.2-ae7 software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libghc-hourglass-dev-0.2.2-ae7 package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libghc-hourglass-dev-0.2.2-ae7

Uninstall libghc-hourglass-dev-0.2.2-ae7 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libghc-hourglass-dev-0.2.2-ae7 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libghc-hourglass-dev-0.2.2-ae7

Use Purging libghc-hourglass-dev-0.2.2-ae7

If you use with purge options to libghc-hourglass-dev-0.2.2-ae7 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libghc-hourglass-dev-0.2.2-ae7

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libghc-hourglass-dev-0.2.2-ae7
