How to uninstall or remove libghc-heist-dev-0.13.1.2-0308 software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libghc-heist-dev-0.13.1.2-0308 package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libghc-heist-dev-0.13.1.2-0308

Uninstall libghc-heist-dev-0.13.1.2-0308 including dependent package

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libghc-heist-dev-0.13.1.2-0308

Use Purging libghc-heist-dev-0.13.1.2-0308

If you use with purge options to libghc-heist-dev-0.13.1.2-0308 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libghc-heist-dev-0.13.1.2-0308

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libghc-heist-dev-0.13.1.2-0308
