How to uninstall or remove libghc-hamlet-dev-1.1.9.2-c9d2 software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libghc-hamlet-dev-1.1.9.2-c9d2 package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libghc-hamlet-dev-1.1.9.2-c9d2

Uninstall libghc-hamlet-dev-1.1.9.2-c9d2 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libghc-hamlet-dev-1.1.9.2-c9d2 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libghc-hamlet-dev-1.1.9.2-c9d2

Use Purging libghc-hamlet-dev-1.1.9.2-c9d2

If you use with purge options to libghc-hamlet-dev-1.1.9.2-c9d2 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libghc-hamlet-dev-1.1.9.2-c9d2

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libghc-hamlet-dev-1.1.9.2-c9d2
