How to uninstall or remove libghc-asn1-data-dev-0.7.1-f3f software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libghc-asn1-data-dev-0.7.1-f3f package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libghc-asn1-data-dev-0.7.1-f3f

Uninstall libghc-asn1-data-dev-0.7.1-f3f including dependent package

If you would like to remove libghc-asn1-data-dev-0.7.1-f3f and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libghc-asn1-data-dev-0.7.1-f3f

Use Purging libghc-asn1-data-dev-0.7.1-f3f

If you use with purge options to libghc-asn1-data-dev-0.7.1-f3f package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libghc-asn1-data-dev-0.7.1-f3f

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libghc-asn1-data-dev-0.7.1-f3f
