How to uninstall or remove libgfortran3-armel software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libgfortran3-armel package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libgfortran3-armel

Uninstall libgfortran3-armel including dependent package

If you would like to remove libgfortran3-armel and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgfortran3-armel

Use Purging libgfortran3-armel

If you use with purge options to libgfortran3-armel package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libgfortran3-armel

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgfortran3-armel
