libgfal-transfer2 software package provides File Transfer logic of gfal2, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgfal-transfer2
libgfal-transfer2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgfal-transfer2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgfal-transfer2 *
You will get with libgfal-transfer2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
