How to uninstall or remove libgd-gd2-noxpm-ocaml software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libgd-gd2-noxpm-ocaml package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libgd-gd2-noxpm-ocaml

Uninstall libgd-gd2-noxpm-ocaml including dependent package

If you would like to remove libgd-gd2-noxpm-ocaml and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgd-gd2-noxpm-ocaml

Use Purging libgd-gd2-noxpm-ocaml

If you use with purge options to libgd-gd2-noxpm-ocaml package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libgd-gd2-noxpm-ocaml

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgd-gd2-noxpm-ocaml
