How to uninstall or remove libgcrypt20-dbg software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libgcrypt20-dbg package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libgcrypt20-dbg 

Uninstall libgcrypt20-dbg including dependent package

If you would like to remove libgcrypt20-dbg and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgcrypt20-dbg 
Use Purging libgcrypt20-dbg

If you use with purge options to libgcrypt20-dbg package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libgcrypt20-dbg 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgcrypt20-dbg
