libgconf-2-4 software package provides GNOME configuration database system (shared libraries), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgconf-2-4
libgconf-2-4 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgconf-2-4 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgconf-2-4 *
You will get with libgconf-2-4 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
