How to uninstall or remove libgalax-ocaml-dev-9gc81 software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libgalax-ocaml-dev-9gc81 package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libgalax-ocaml-dev-9gc81

Uninstall libgalax-ocaml-dev-9gc81 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libgalax-ocaml-dev-9gc81 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgalax-ocaml-dev-9gc81

Use Purging libgalax-ocaml-dev-9gc81

If you use with purge options to libgalax-ocaml-dev-9gc81 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libgalax-ocaml-dev-9gc81

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgalax-ocaml-dev-9gc81
