libfreeimage3-dbg software package provides Support library for graphics image formats (debugging symbols), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libfreeimage3-dbg
libfreeimage3-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libfreeimage3-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libfreeimage3-dbg *
You will get with libfreeimage3-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
