libfont-freetype-perl software package provides module to read font files and render glyphs from Perl using FreeType2, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libfont-freetype-perl
libfont-freetype-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libfont-freetype-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
