libflac8 software package provides Free Lossless Audio Codec - runtime C library, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libflac8
libflac8 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libflac8 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libflac8 *
You will get with libflac8 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
