libfakekey-dev software package provides library for converting characters to X key-presses [development], you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libfakekey-dev
libfakekey-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libfakekey-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libfakekey-dev *
You will get with libfakekey-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
