libextlib-ruby-doc software package provides Transitional package for ruby-extlib, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libextlib-ruby-doc
libextlib-ruby-doc is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libextlib-ruby-doc package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libextlib-ruby-doc *
You will get with libextlib-ruby-doc package name, version, architecture and description in a table
