libext2fs2 software package provides virtual package provided by e2fslibs, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libext2fs2
libext2fs2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libext2fs2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libext2fs2*
You will get with libext2fs2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
