How to uninstall or remove libemail-mime-attachment-strip software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libemail-mime-attachment-strip package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libemail-mime-attachment-strip

Uninstall libemail-mime-attachment-strip including dependent package

If you would like to remove libemail-mime-attachment-strip and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libemail-mime-attachment-strip

Use Purging libemail-mime-attachment-strip

If you use with purge options to libemail-mime-attachment-strip package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libemail-mime-attachment-strip

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libemail-mime-attachment-strip
