How to uninstall or remove libelektra4-yajl software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libelektra4-yajl package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libelektra4-yajl

Uninstall libelektra4-yajl including dependent package

If you would like to remove libelektra4-yajl and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libelektra4-yajl

Use Purging libelektra4-yajl

If you use with purge options to libelektra4-yajl package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libelektra4-yajl

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libelektra4-yajl
